Your New Role
The Coordinator, Localization (Dubbing & Subtitling), supports the end-to-end coordination of localization projects across multiple languages, with a primary focus on dubbing and subtitling workflows for film, television, and digital content.
This role is responsible for managing timelines, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, monitoring delivery milestones, and helping ensure that localized assets meet quality, technical, and client requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Your Role Accountabilities
Project Management and Planning
Coordinate end-to-end localization workflows for dubbing and subtitling projects, from project intake through final delivery.
Support localization project planning by helping define timelines, resource requirements, workflows, and delivery milestones.
Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with client specifications.
Stakeholder, Resource and Vendor Management
Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, linguists, studios, and quality control partners to support smooth project execution.
Assist with vendor coordination, resource planning, and workload prioritization across multiple simultaneous projects.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and escalate issues in a timely manner with proposed solutions.
Support quality assurance by coordinating checks, addressing feedback, and facilitating redeliveries when required.
Ensure adherence to established workflows, technical specifications, and localization standards.
Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking costs, and supporting budget control to help ensure efficient use of resources.
Support Innovation and Development
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
Review project requirements and help ensure materials, assets, and instructions are complete before launch.
Support continuous improvement of localization workflows, tools, and operational practices.
Support any technology in AI and automation developments.
Administrative (Reports)
Prepare and maintain project documentation, trackers, status updates, and operational reports.
Maintain accurate records of project status, delivery milestones, issue logs, and budget tracking details.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in media, communications, linguistics, translation, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3–5 years of experience in localization, media operations, project coordination, or a related role.
Working knowledge of dubbing and subtitling workflows, terminology, and delivery requirements.
Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and collaborate across teams in different time zones.
Experience supporting localization for entertainment, broadcast, streaming, or digital media content.
Familiarity with subtitle formats, dubbing scripts, audio/video assets, and common localization tools or platforms.
Experience working with external vendors, freelancers, or production partners across international markets.
Knowledge of quality control processes and issue resolution in media localization.
Additional language skills are a plus.
