Role Overview

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE), you are the tip of the spear. You will work on-site with our most important enterprise and government customers to architect operational AI workflows, integrate disparate data silos into ontological models, and build custom applications that drive real-world outcomes in weeks rather than years.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and customize Palantir AIP and Foundry to automate high-stakes decision making for global organizations.
• Write robust backend services in Java and frontend applications in TypeScript/React to operationalize customer data.
• Connect customer operational databases, sensors, and ERP systems into unified semantic ontology layers.
• Design safe, audited LLM agent workflows that interact directly with enterprise core software systems.
• Collaborate directly with customer executives, operators, and developers to rapidly iterate on technical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience in Java, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• Strong foundational understanding of relational databases, API design, and distributed architectures.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong desire to work directly with customers in dynamic environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $155,000 – $230,000 per year + Palantir Equity (RSUs).
