Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Staff Product Designer to define interaction paradigms for AI-assisted creation across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Horizon. You will move beyond simple chat bubbles to craft dynamic, multimodal UI surfaces that empower users to edit media, collaborate with agents, and customize their creative workflows effortlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design for flagship Generative AI interfaces from foundational research through high-fidelity prototyping and launch.
• Establish design patterns for agent transparency, prompt guidance, intent disambiguation, and user control.
• Collaborate with AI research scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers to translate technical model capabilities into intuitive consumer experiences.
• Create comprehensive design system components and interaction specifications in Figma and code prototypes.
• Synthesize quantitative behavioral analytics and qualitative user research to iterate on UX flows.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of digital product design experience shipping high-impact mobile and web applications at scale.
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing systems thinking, visual elegance, complex workflow simplification, and interaction design mastery.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional executive leadership with compelling narratives and prototypes.
• Familiarity with the capabilities and UX limitations of modern Large Language Models and diffusion architectures.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $190,000 – $285,000 per year + annual bonus + Meta Equity (RSUs).
