Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Silicon Validation Engineer to join our Silicon Validation team in Cupertino. You will be responsible for bringing up, characterizing, and validating next-generation Apple Silicon processors, ensuring flawless reliability from first silicon through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pre- and post-silicon validation for high-speed SOC interfaces, unified memory controllers, and neural engines.
• Develop comprehensive bare-metal validation test suites and automated diagnostic firmware in C and Python.
• Utilize high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and specialized lab instrumentation to characterize electrical margin and signal integrity.
• Debug complex hardware, firmware, and software interactions alongside silicon design, architecture, and OS teams.
• Automate thermal, voltage, and frequency sweep characterizations to validate silicon reliability across process corners.

Qualifications & Experience

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in post-silicon validation, hardware bring-up, and board-level debug.
• Proficiency in C for embedded firmware and Python for test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture, PCIe, LPDDR5/DDR5 memory subsystems, and JTAG debugging.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $185,000 – $295,000 per year + Apple RSU equity grant.
