Our Business Development team is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support the growth of Digital Products (E-Service) in Shopee and ShopeePay applications. This role works closely with senior team members and cross-functional teams, offering hands-on exposure to partner management, digital product growth, and real business execution in a fast-paced environment
What you'll do
- Partner Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic partners across both public and private sectors. Understand partners’ business objectives, operational constraints, and regulatory considerations to identify growth opportunities, and prepare analysis and materials to support commercial discussions and partner negotiations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration for Business Growth: Work closely with marketing, operations, product, finance, tax, legal, and compliance teams to align priorities, communicate requirements clearly, and ensure cross-functional readiness for business and partner initiatives.
- Project Facilitation & Troubleshooting: Support project planning and execution, track progress, flag risks, ask clarifying questions, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Campaign and Growth Initiative Execution: Collaborate with marketing teams to execute digital product promotions and growth initiatives, align campaign mechanics with business development objectives, and support coordination with partners on promotional mechanics, contributions, and media barter opportunities.
- Performance Analysis & Strategic Reporting: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities; ask the right questions from data and proactively discuss insights with senior team members.
- Operational Optimization & Problem Resolution: Serve as a key internal point of contact for day-to-day operational inquiries, support partner and customer issue resolution, and continuously identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency.
- Business Development Initiatives for Category Expansion: Research and evaluate new growth opportunities, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and support the development of innovative commercial and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management. (Fresh graduates with strong internship experience in Startup, Fintech, E-commerce, or fast-paced environments are highly welcomed).
- High flexibility with a "can-do" attitude: Comfortable handling diverse tasks, ranging from high-level coordination and business logic down to hands-on operations.
- Strong curiosity and commercial sense: Not afraid to ask the right questions to deeply understand business contexts, numbers, and decisions.
- Analytical & logical thinker: Enjoy working with data, reports, and dashboards; able to break down complex problems and translate numbers into clear, actionable plans.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong ownership: Possess great project management skills, demonstrating a sense of urgency, independent task prioritization, and solid follow-through.
- Effective communicator: Comfortable discussing ideas, insights, and solutions with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets (basic data interpretation) and PowerPoint / Google Slides (structuring clear narratives).
- Good command of both Thai and English (written and verbal).
- Good to have: Knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, etc.) to optimize daily workflows.
