Joignez-vous à l’équipe Service de Hitachi Énergie et contribuez directement à la fiabilité et à la performance des infrastructures électriques essentielles qui alimentent nos collectivités. À titre de spécialiste du service sur le terrain, vous réaliserez des mandats techniques complexes liés à l’installation, la mise en service, l’inspection, l’entretien, le dépannage, les essais, les réparations et les modernisations de disjoncteurs et d’équipements haute tension pouvant atteindre 800 kV. Ce rôle vous permettra de mettre à profit votre expertise technique, vos compétences en résolution de problèmes et votre approche orientée client afin de soutenir la sécurité, la fiabilité et la continuité des réseaux électriques. Comment vous aurez un impact

• Réaliser des mandats complexes sur le terrain liés à l’installation, à la mise en service, à l’entretien, aux inspections, aux essais et à la réparation d’équipements haute tension jusqu’à 800 kV.

• Fournir un soutien technique et des services spécialisés à distance et directement chez les clients.

• Diagnostiquer et résoudre de façon autonome des problèmes électriques et mécaniques afin de minimiser les interruptions d’équipement.

• Coordonner les activités de service avec les clients et les équipes internes afin de respecter les échéanciers et les engagements de service.

• Gérer des projets de service sur site et fournir des recommandations techniques éclairées.

• Assembler et utiliser des équipements d’essai avancés pour les activités d’inspection, de maintenance et de validation de performance.

• Effectuer des essais électriques, compiler des données techniques et résoudre des enjeux opérationnels complexes.

• Identifier de nouvelles occasions d’affaires, soutenir la croissance des services et recommander des améliorations aux produits et aux processus.

• Responsable de veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.

Votre profil

• Le candidat doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Énergie au Canada.

• Formation professionnelle et expérience en mécanique industrielle et en électricité; un diplôme en génie électrique ou en génie mécanique constitue un atout.

• Minimum de 5 années d’expérience en services techniques sur le terrain.

• Expérience pratique avec des équipements haute tension jusqu’à 800 kV.

• Connaissance des essais électriques et de la maintenance des disjoncteurs.

• Expérience auprès de services publics d’électricité.

• Expérience en coordination et en gestion de projets électriques sur le terrain.

• Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des logiciels associés aux équipements d’essai.

• Permis de conduire valide et capacité à travailler au Canada, aux États-Unis et au Mexique.

• Disponibilité pour voyager jusqu’à 80 % du temps.

• Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy’s Grid Integration and High Voltage Service team and play a key role in maintaining some of the most critical assets powering today’s electrical infrastructure. As a Field Service Specialist, you will perform advanced field service activities involving installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, repair, testing, and modernization of high-voltage circuit breakers and related equipment up to 800 kV. Working independently on complex technical assignments, you will support utility customers across Canada, the United States, and Mexico while contributing to the reliability, safety, and performance of the power grid. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise, customer interaction, and project coordination while working with advanced testing technologies and industry-leading high-voltage equipment. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute complex field service assignments involving installation, commissioning, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage equipment up to 800 kV.

• Deliver technical support and service solutions both remotely and at customer sites.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues independently to minimize equipment downtime.

• Coordinate field activities with customers and internal teams to meet service commitments and project schedules.

• Manage on-site service projects and provide technical guidance during field operations.

• Assemble and operate advanced testing equipment to perform inspections, maintenance, and performance verification.

• Conduct electrical testing, compile technical data, and investigate operational issues to identify effective solutions.

• Identify opportunities for service growth, product improvements, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

• Professional training and experience in industrial mechanics and electrical systems; a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is considered an asset.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing technical field service activities.

• Practical experience working with high-voltage equipment up to 800 kV.

• Knowledge of electrical testing practices and circuit breaker maintenance.

• Experience supporting electrical utility customers and coordinating electrical service projects.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and testing equipment software.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to work throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

• Fluent in both French and English.
