The oportunity
Candidate will be responsible for management of contracts with customers, vendors, suppliers, partners, or employees. This includes contract drafting, execution, and analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance and minimizing risk. Negotiates the terms and conditions in contracts and ensures compliance with them. Documents any changes/amendments that may happen during execution of the contract. Creates and maintains contract database for easy access and retrieval. A Manager (M3) manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically includes Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
How You'll Make an Impact
Provide end to end assistance and guidance for the entire lifecycle of the contract. Ensuring all contract management activities are executed in accordance with Company/Business Unit directives and instructions including Company procedures and BU procedures.
Ensures the portfolio of contracts in the HUB business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with Company/BU/HUB standard procedures.
Conducting contract and claims negotiations and settlements.
Reviews and comments on commercial tender terms and conditions. Analyzes prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk, such as ambiguities, omissions and conflicts, as work proceeds. Negotiate contracts.
Coordinate with BU Head of CM to have a common approach to contract management within the HUB.
Organizing Contract Management in his/her respective geographical area.
Drive resources needs to respond to business requirements on contract management.
Define procedures to be applicable to HUB in coordination with BU
Your Background
Must have a bachelor's degree in law
Must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience
Experience in Contract management/ legal in EP/EPC energy company or similar industrial manufacturing companies is highly preferred
Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners;
Solid experience in negotiation, change management, claim management and contract related issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility;
Experience in working in a multicultural environment and intercultural awareness;
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills;
Systematic and structured work style;
Ability to negotiate in English. Any other additional language is an advantage
