The Opportunity
As a Procurement Senior Professional at HITACHI ENERGY CHILE S.A., you will be responsible for executing and optimizing procurement activities to support the company's operational needs and strategic goals. You will manage complex purchasing processes, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives and global procurement policies.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, tender processes, contract negotiation, and order placement.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value for money.
Monitor supplier performance against agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage supplier relationships.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, project management, finance) to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the energy or heavy industry sector.
Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
Strong understanding of procurement best practices, principles, and relevant legal frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in using procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP Ariba).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
