The Distribution Center (DC) Operations manager leads a team that optimizes operations throughout the North American network of third party logistics provider (3PL) run DCs fulfilling every route to market. The ideal candidate blends strategic planning with tactical execution to drive key initiatives including: Customer Delight, Process Excellence (Precision), Cost Leadership, Environmental Sustainability, and Continuous Improvement. This leader must operate with a lean mindset, identifying systemic friction points, eliminating waste, and building scalable solutions that optimize the network.

This position requires a deep understanding of Apple’s DC network operations and the intersection with inbound and outbound transportation. The candidate must be able to work cross-functionally to identify opportunities that improve speed and customer satisfaction while minimizing costs. This requires expertise in industry best practices and data analytics to quantify the opportunities and implement solutions. You will need to manage a network that must scale to peak volumes that may or may not be planned and work with 3PLs to build capabilities to support this.
