Lead customer workshops to understand ADAS and automated-driving use cases, vehicle architecture, target markets, safety requirements, software platforms, and integration constraints.
Design solution architectures combining ADAS road and lane models, map streaming, dynamic services, eHorizon, map matching, route projection, and ADASIS-based data exchange.
Guide OEM and Tier-1 engineering teams in integrating map data and SDK components into IVI, ADAS domain controllers, middleware, and cloud-to-vehicle platforms.
Build and present reference architectures, interface designs, integration plans, data flows, trade-off analyses, and technical proposals for customer decision makers.
Lead technical PoCs and demonstrations, define acceptance criteria, identify dependencies and risks, and coordinate delivery across product, map, SDK, validation, sales, and program teams.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues across map data, APIs, SDKs, embedded platforms, networking, positioning, routing, and sensor/perception interfaces.
Represent the voice of Greater China customers to product teams, converting market feedback and technical gaps into clear product requirements and roadmap recommendations.
Create reusable integration assets, including sample code, architecture patterns, technical documentation, FAQs, and bilingual customer enablement material.
Mentor support engineers and sales teams, improving technical readiness, solution consistency, and customer self-sufficiency.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Robotics, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
Typically 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in automotive ADAS, autonomous driving, digital maps, navigation, or in-vehicle software architecture.
Strong understanding of ADAS or automated-driving system architecture, including localization, planning, perception interfaces, eHorizon, map-aided driving functions, and vehicle-domain integration.
Hands-on knowledge of digital map concepts such as road topology, lane geometry, connectivity, speed restrictions, curvature, gradient, traffic signs, road objects, and dynamic road conditions.
Experience with automotive map or exchange standards and formats such as NDS, NDS.Live, ADASIS v2/v3, OGP, PBF, OpenLR, or equivalent proprietary formats.
Strong software engineering skills in C++ and/or Java/Kotlin; working knowledge of Python for tooling, data inspection, or automation.
Experience integrating or supporting software on Linux, QNX, Android Automotive, AUTOSAR Adaptive, ROS 2, or comparable embedded automotive platforms.
Ability to diagnose distributed-system and embedded integration issues using logs, traces, API analysis, network tools, and structured root-cause methods.
Excellent customer-facing communication, architecture storytelling, technical writing, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
Fluent Chinese and English, with the ability to create and deliver technical content in both languages; willingness to travel for customer workshops and critical milestones.
Experience at a digital map, navigation, location-platform, ADAS, autonomous-driving algorithm, automotive middleware, or intelligent-vehicle company.
Track record supporting China OEMs, AD Tier-1 suppliers, or autonomous-driving companies from PoC to SOP.
Experience with automotive SoCs and compute platforms such as Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride, NVIDIA DRIVE, Mobileye EyeQ, Horizon Robotics Journey, or Black Sesame.
Knowledge of functional-safety and safety-of-the-intended-functionality practices, including ISO 26262 and SOTIF, plus awareness of ISA or Euro NCAP use cases.
Familiarity with map-data visualization, GIS tools, simulation environments, vehicle testing, or sensor-derived map validation.
