Summer 2026 Growth Strategy Intern - Shopee International Platform, Cross Border Ecommerce

About the team

Shopee International Platform (SIP) maximises assortment availability for buyers across all local markets and supports local sellers and brands in growing into global sellers and brands with Shopee. The team spans all business sub-functions, including Commercial, Operations, Financial Planning and Analytics, and Strategic Projects. You will be part of an entrepreneurial and collaborative team aiming to deliver high strategic impact across Shopee local markets, cross-border selling and infrastructure, commercial growth, operational excellence, and platform-level business and capability development.

 

 

What you'll do

• Support strategic growth projects, assist in project execution to drive cross-border seller sales growth, and optimise marketing decisions
• Analyse cross-border performance data to identify trends and insights, growth opportunities, and key problem areas
• Conduct market research, user studies and competitive analysis to determine future growth strategies
• Pilot new programs and initiatives across markets, track results, and propose iterations for improvement
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, translate findings into actionable project recommendations and iterations
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across regions

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with majors in relevant field 
• Strong analytical skills with sensitivity to data and an ability to translate data into insights
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present data and insights to stakeholders
• Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
• Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate
• Strong proficiency in Excel is a must, and knowledge in SQL is a plus
• Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)
