What You’ll Do
As an IT Support Engineer, you play a key role in supporting our employees in IT related topics from fixing network issues to ensuring everyone has the needed tools in use. Your duties might include on-call work if necessary and urgent.
Your key responsibilities will include,
- Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues
- Responding to and solving general IT requests and tickets locally and supporting other branches when needed
- Ensuring security software is kept up to date
- Maintaining an updated inventory of software, hardware, and other resources
- Documenting case studies and relevant IT processes and procedures and
adding these to the knowledge base
- Regular system inspections, equipment inspections, and service inspections
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar roles working with IT infrastructure and technical service/helpdesk
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues
- Understanding of Networks (TCP\IP, WAN, LAN, VPN, ADSL).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Finnish is considered an asset.
- Readiness and willingness to travel in Finland and if needed also internationally
