We are seeking a highly skilled full stack developer with expertise in .NET and experience in relational databases and Angular with a strong interest in the finance and regulatory domain to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to our future application specifically designed for major Custodian Banks. Serving as the core engine of their operational activities, it provides rigorous, automated, and high-performance regulatory monitoring for funds under management.
The solution you will help build is structured around several key and innovative modules:
- Lifecycle Management: A comprehensive module dedicated to regulatory monitoring of funds.
- Data & Engineering: A pipeline capable of ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of daily market data.
- Artificial Intelligence: An annotation tool powered by our proprietary AI algorithms to automatically identify and visualize statutory fund rules.
- High-Performance Rules Engine: A robust system capable of verifying compliance across hundreds of thousands of rules every single day.
- Remediation Workflow: A tracking and resolution tool designed to efficiently manage non-compliant funds.
Our partner (and launch client) manages over 10,000 funds. As a result, you will operate in an environment where handling ultra-high data volumes and ensuring system resilience are critical priorities—making for exciting daily challenges.
Role description & Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership & Architecture Collaboration
- Technical Excellence: Champion engineering best practices, modern design patterns, and high code quality standards across the software lifecycle to deliver robust & scalable solutions.
- Architecture & Design: Collaborate with Software Architects to design and implement modular, scalable, and resilient software components capable of processing high volume, business critical data ensuring performance & reliability.
- Enterprise Feature Development: Lead the hands-on development of complex, high-impact business-critical features that span across products, services and engineering teams.
2. Domain Delivery & Regulatory Compliance
- Financial Domain Expertise: Translate complex financial, regulatory, and business rules into robust, high performance software solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all applications strictly adhere to strict banking security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
3. Team Enablement & Quality Assurance
- Empower Engineering Teams: Support squad leads and development teams by unblocking technical challenges and elevating overall team delivery capabilities.
- Quality-First Engineering: Champion a quality-driven development in Collaboration with QA teams to drive robust automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
- Accelerate engineering productivity by leveraging AI-powered development assistants, intelligent automation, and modern engineering tools to improve code quality, delivery velocity, and developer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 13+ years of experience in software development
- Strong experience in .Net 8/10 programming language
- Proficient in Hangfire
- Proficient in Entity Framework / nHibernate
- Strong experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Experience in Angular 15 (Good to have)
