What You'll Be Doing
As Director, Digital Presence and Marketing, you will lead the management and planning of CIBC Private Wealth’s and CIBC Global Asset Management’s public digital channels. You will provide tactical insight, consultation and support for digital marketing programs (including web, mobile/tablet, email, distributed marketing and emerging technologies) that support the strategic direction of Wealth Digital, Marketing, and Communication team. Working closely with stakeholders, partners and digital teams this role will focus on digital marketing innovation, enhanced client experiences, and business objective measurement/analytics. The successful candidate must possess and continue to advance their knowledge in digital strategy across a full digital ecosystem including marketing, digital presence (websites), standing up and defining an on-going email marketing program (Salesforce Marketing Cloud and distributed marketing) and more. Your expertise will drive innovation, elevate client experiences, and deliver measurable results across our public-facing digital platforms.

How You'll Succeed
- Strategic & Innovative Thinking - Own / drive / present the digital strategy & roadmap to ensure the company and clients’ needs are addressed. Assess the impact of delivered programs in achieving their desired goals and objectives.
- Deliver with Excellence – Support the digital planning for both fiscal and program planning. Working closely with leadership to define fiscal planning. While working closely with the team to support the ongoing production and publishing of key initiatives. You support the key day-to-day activities, such as UAT, clarifying requirements and sharing the business value around features. Work with development, QA, security, operations, and data teams to drive delivery of releases.
- Lead and Inspire – You will leverage your well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills to excite, inspire and lead others in a highly collaborative environment. Both with partners and while leading your team. You will lead a team of high performing individuals well versed in the digital channel management, digital marketing and project management. You will support the team with their day-to-day, ensuring a sound execution strategy, while helping guide their digital strategy, planning and measurement.
- Collaboration – You foster a one team and purpose driven culture. Invest in building cross-functional relationships and getting team members and enterprise partners invested in the success of a shared goal. Regularly participate & encourage continuous improvement of how the team works and collaborates.
- Enhanced Client Experience – The ability to understand the needs of a wide variety of clients/client segments and advisor groups; and apply that knowledge in day-to-day execution, planning/roadmap decision making, and digital product backlog prioritization.
- Leverage Salesforce Expertise – With your deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM integrations you will lead a seamless advisor and customer experience for the wealth management business. Using your extensive experience and expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Distributed marketing and CRM, you will lead the email marketing, digital lead generation, email journey development and enhancements for our businesses and advisors.
- Ensure Platform Excellence – You will play an important part in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and servicing of the platforms, the large-scale changes, and “everything in between” operate smoothly, reliably and continually delight our clients and stakeholders.
