Senior Technical Solutions Consultant

Visa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and payment service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to people around the world for Card, Account and Digital Wallets products. This role covers both sides of Visa Direct product – Card and Account/ Wallets.  

The selected candidate will be providing consultancy services to Visa Direct Enablers (Acquirers, PSP, processors) and key merchants, to identify, define, and initiate execution of real-time payment technical solutions - keeping in mind evolving market, client, and consumer needs with the objective of driving significant future market growth for Visa. This role is sales engineering position. Success is defined by the ability to translate complex client problems into credible, scalable technology solutions, influence senior stakeholders, partner with the business to accelerate time to revenue.

The candidate must possess a unique combination of technical skills - deep understanding of card and account payments processing, banking systems, consumer behaviour and Visa’s business – and outstanding client facing skills, such as excellent influencing ability to help execute the strategy for Visa Direct clients in Europe. Key responsibilities will include: 

• Engage European Acquirers, PSPs, Processors, Merchants, and deliver agreed targets for Visa Direct enabler and originator enablement and growth 
• Support clients in assessing current‑state architectures and defining future‑state designs aligned to modern APIs, microservices, and scalable integration patterns
• Lead solution ideation and high‑level architecture, translating client business needs into pragmatic, implementable technology and integration designs   
• Support presales and RFP processes, partnering with Sales, Product, Compliance to sell compelling technology led solutions.
• Translate technical capability into clear client value propositions and solution narratives.
• Lead project governance, manage escalations and navigate complex client and internal environments
• Contribute to the product development, identifying areas of improvements and implementing solutions 
• Independent day- to-day working, self-directed based on a sound understanding of overall strategy 

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
