Job Description

Role Summary

The Director, Commercial Effectiveness will be responsible for accelerating business growth across CEMEA through data-driven decision making, commercial strategy, and technology-enabled transformation. The role will identify opportunities to grow revenue, increase share, improve yield, and enhance commercial productivity while building scalable capabilities that enable the frontline to make faster and better decisions.

This role will help drive the evolution of CEMEA's reporting and decision intelligence ecosystem, champion the adoption of GenAI and automation, and lead strategic transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to convert insights into action, institutionalize performance management disciplines, and consistently deliver trackable outcomes that contribute to Visa's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Growth & Opportunity Identification:

• Identify opportunities to grow Visa revenue, increase market share, improve portfolio yield, and accelerate growth across CEMEA. 
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to support sales strategy, account planning, annual operating plan, and commercial prioritization.

GenAI & Decision Intelligence

• Lead the modernization, standardization, and governance of the CEMEA reporting and decision intelligence ecosystem.
• Analyze market trends, client performance, portfolio dynamics, and deal strategy to uncover growth opportunities and drive measurable business value. 
• Drive the adoption of GenAI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance commercial effectiveness. 

Strategic Transformation Programs

• Lead strategic, cross-functional transformation programs from concept through execution, ensuring successful adoption and sustainable outcomes.
• Establish performance management disciplines, operating rhythms, and KPI frameworks that drive accountability, transparency, and results.
• Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Product, Finance, Strategy, Technology, and Analytics to influence decisions, align priorities, and accelerate execution across the region.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business planning, sales operations, consulting, analytics or related disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programs with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to identify and unlock growth opportunities.
• Advanced analytical capabilities with expertise in reporting, dashboards, and performance management.
• Experience leveraging AI, GenAI, automation, or advanced analytics to improve business performance.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience working within complex, matrixed global organizations.
