Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
The Buy-Sell Team Leader is responsible for leading and developing the Buy-Sell sales team across the Mid-Atlantic Region. This role drives sales performance, strengthens channel partnerships, supports strategic growth initiatives, and ensures excellent customer and distributor engagement. The Team Leader provides coaching, accountability, and direction to the team while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver regional business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Buy-Sell sales team within the Mid-Atlantic Region.
- Drive achievement of regional revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and key customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customers’ needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to support sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
- Review team performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results.
- Ensure consistent use of sales processes, tools, and reporting practices.
- Support talent development through regular feedback, performance management, and succession planning.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning for the region.
- Travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region to support team members, customers, and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in channel sales, distribution, or regional sales leadership.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver sales growth.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience managing distributor or partner networks preferred.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as needed within the region.
