Job Summary:

Responsible for PLC control engineering for data center application, including DC cooling equipment logic diagram, control logic programming, debugging, data center project factory witness test and on-site support.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Discuss the control logic requirements of specific equipment with client side control engineering team.
• Responsible for preparing control logic diagrams according to DC cooling equipment control requirements
• Responsible for PLC control logic programming, mainly on Simens PLC (Smart & 1200)
• Responsible for logic debugging with simulator, and at manufactured product
• Responsible for data center project FWT (factory witness test), control part
• Provide remote or on-site support of DC product control logic
• Well organize control logic version of DC cooling equipment, covering both standard version updates and customized version logic record.
• Effectively guide the work of other control engineers

Key Competencies:

·         Strong capability on PLC control programming and debugging, mainly on HVAC or DC cooling products.

·         Familiar with data center cooling products SOO (sequence of operation)

·         Familiar with data center project FWT (factory witness test) procedure, experience on projects for hyperscale high tech company is preferred (Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Equinix, NTT Docomo, Air Trunk, etc.)

·         Familiar with typical PLC controller, Simens PLC is most preferred, experience of  Carel PLC or Schneider PLC could also get considered.

·         Excellent concept of ensuring product operation quality based on control logic

·         Good communication of English both in spoken and written.

·         Good communication and interpersonal skill inside and outside
