The major focus of this role is to manage Investor Service process in line with the departmental strategy and team resources in the Poland location. Individuals must have an understanding of service requirements, processes and procedures for fund administration.

The job is available within Investor Services department which operates within Alternative Investment Services unit.
Your new role
As Investor Services Manager, Officer you will be responsible for:
Responsible for the achievement of specific department performance targets and objectives
Exercise operational oversight within the department and make sound operational decisions
Create and drive a culture of strict adherence of all Corporate and Departmental procedures.
Provide leadership and support to the department managers necessary for ensuring their teams are organized & working as efficiently & controlled as possible
Ensure that Transfer Agency is properly resourced both in terms of people and technology whilst complying with agreed budgetary guidelines
Actively support the overall organization and Investor Services Training Plan
Assist more senior colleagues and deputise in their absence
Utilise management information to assist in managing both clients and resources
Focus on development opportunities for your direct reports and ensure a focus on non-operational management within the department
Using corporate PPR tools, actively participate in the performance appraisal process and monitor overall timeliness of completion for the entire team with your direct reports
Promote risk awareness, assessment and control within the department
Understand the risk environment within the department and manage appropriately
Provide regular feedback to managers and more senior colleagues with regard to Investor Services operations
Initiate and oversee tasks within a continuous improvement drive to ensure that the Department is efficient and seen as customer and quality driven
Provide support during the implementation of change
Ensure participation in the completion and implementation of department wide projects and lead local team initiatives

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Comprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Investor Services business is required. This should be complemented with a strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry
4-6 years of relevant fund industry experience including people management , alternative industry experience is an advantage
Comprehensive knowledge of job-related systems, including Microsoft Office applications, is required
Business related degree preferable
Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business related area
ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA qualified or part qualified an advantage
Work organization requirement
Hybrid work model with 3 days of office work per week
Minimum Salary:
zł132,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
