Maintenance Engineer - Ayutthaya (SPX Express)

- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze primary equipment downtime to identify trends, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term corrective actions.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules and inspections, specifically for warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery, to ensure peak operational readiness.
- Project Management: Lead the planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
- Operational Excellence: Minimize unplanned breakdowns through proactive troubleshooting and the implementation of a data-driven maintenance culture.
- Compliance & Safety: Actively support and enforce Corporate Safety (EHS), Environmental, and Quality Management Systems to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Cost Management: Monitor and optimize maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising equipment reliability or safety.
- Continuous Improvement: Generate and manage system change documentation (MOC) to enhance machine efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, conducting performance evaluations and providing technical guidance to ensure departmental KPIs are met.
Requirements
- Able to be based at Ayutthaya (SOCN).
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 0-5 years of industrial maintenance or plant engineering. Fresh graduation is welcome.
- Technical Proficiency: knowledge of industrial machinery and automated sorting systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD) for layout design and technical documentation.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local and international mechanical codes, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
- Soft Skills: * Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills under high-pressure situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Adaptability: Highly agile and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
- Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English (technical reading of manuals and effective communication with international vendors).
