We are looking for self-driven individuals to join our Singapore Product team in shaping the future of logistics in Singapore. The intense competition and unique operating environment in the Singapore market make this role both highly challenging and deeply rewarding.
As a Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end design and delivery of technical solutions from the buyer experience, driver experience and systems perspective. You will work closely with Singapore business and regional stakeholders to identify product opportunities, enhance cost efficiency, and improve operational productivity.
What you'll do
- Leadership: For team leads – directly manage a team of product managers and guide adjacent teams; set SG Product priorities, allocate resources, and foster a high-performance culture. For experienced individual contributors – lead product projects, manage stakeholder alignment, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Engage Singapore Shopee Express team and regional stakeholders to understand business requirements and explore any new strategic opportunities in cost experience enhancement and operation productivity
- Identify opportunities for emerging technologies and process improvements; pilot proofs-of-concept in Singapore and scale successful solutions fleet-wide as appropriate; Develop and implement outcome-based products and roadmaps that align with strategic goals and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Work closely with functional leads on the details of business context and impact evaluation. Deliver clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (FRF or BRDs) with simplified product solution for business alignment and engineers’ reference
- Plan the Shopee Express product roadmap based on the requirements gathered from internal and external stakeholders. Exercise sound judgement in prioritising product features in roadmap (based on data analysis of business value and impact, technical feasibility, development resource planning and implementation schedule)
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage live releases. Develop a rollout plan in alignment with business stakeholders, executing in a manner that mitigates potential risks. Maintain clear reporting on key risks and corresponding mitigation plans.
- Drive successful solution implementation and adoption with internal training, deployment planning, day-to-day support, feedback gathering, etc
- Own the product lifecycle process - analysing data to gather insights on product adoption/improvements, tracking KPIs, and proposing further iterations
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (Operations Management), Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Industrial System Engineering or other Engineering degrees is a plus
- Minimally 3 years of working experience in product management for Independent Contributor, or minimally 5 years of working experience for a team lead
- Cross-disciplinary understanding of business functions and/or information systems (such as information exchange, data structure) is a plus
- Strong data analytical skills with proficiency in tools like SQL, Python is a plus
- Able to communicate complex ideas concisely and effectively (both verbally and in writing), to stakeholders at all levels
- Logical thinker and problem-solver. Must be an independent self-starter and a quick learner, with the diligence to follow-through on complex projects
- Able to work in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
