Regional Financial Planning and Analysis Intern (Corporate) - Regional BI & Planning (Fall 2026)

About the team

The Regional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Shopee team plays a critical role in driving strategic decision-making through data-driven financial insights. We partner closely with business leaders across markets and functions to deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Our team ensures financial discipline, identifies areas for operational efficiency, and supports sustainable growth initiatives across the region.

What you'll do

• Assist in consolidating the monthly/quarterly budget for Operating Expense – Staff Cost, General & Administrative expense, Server and Hosting cost and Shared Expense
• Conduct variance analysis between forecasted and actual expenses, identifying key drivers of variances and presenting insights for improved forecasting accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for senior management, including financial summaries, variance reports, and trend analyses.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Accountancy or Business
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus
• Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)
