Playtech is looking for an Information Security Officer to lead the security and compliance strategy of next-generation gaming platforms, combining technical expertise with strategic vision.
Your influential mission. You will...
Serve as a local security representative for Playtech, acting as a bridge between local operations and global security functions, as well as applicable regulatory, statutory, and contractual security obligations.
Define, establish, and implement information security governance and operational processes related to operation in Brazil to ensure compliance with business objectives, Brazilian legislation, regulatory frameworks, and customer contractual agreements.
Produce and deliver ongoing security reporting in Portuguese, in line with customer contractual commitments, regulatory expectations, and internal operational requirements.
Implement and oversee the adoption of corporate and global security policies, standards, and best practices within Playtech’s Brazilian operations.
Govern and oversee essential security and IT controls to ensure appropriate security posture.
Lead local security incident management in cooperation with the global Security Operations Center (SOC).
Serve as the primary point of contact for local stakeholders, authorities, regulators, and external parties on security matters.
Support and represent the organization in internal and external security audits, acting as the local security representative.
Identify, assess, and continuously monitor information security risks across the Brazilian operation, recommending and driving mitigation strategies aligned with the business risk appetite.
Analyze, map, and communicate information security requirements arising from Brazilian legislative and regulatory obligations.

Proven experience across the security governance, risk, and compliance domain.
Demonstrated experience working with/at Brazilian financial sector.
Strong knowledge of the local regulatory framework and hands-on experience implementing relevant security controls.
Demonstrated experience in implementing recognized security frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, ISAE 3402, etc.).
Experience leading and supporting information security risk assessments and risk management processes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse audience, including executive management, managers, and subject matter experts.
Proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently within a global security team.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 5 years of experience in Information Security.
Professional working proficiency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
Willingness to work on site at least 50% of the time in São Paulo, with readiness to travel.

Globally recognized Information Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISM, CISSP) or equivalent professional experience.
