Job Description:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a portfolio of facilities and workplace projects across Nextpower offices, labs, and manufacturing environments. This includes office buildouts, renovations, space optimization, and real estate initiatives such as site selection, lease analysis, and occupancy planning. The PM will oversee schedules, budgets, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution aligned with Nextpower’s brand, safety, and sustainability standards.
Manage facilities and real estate projects from concept to closeout, including programming, design, procurement, construction, and occupancy.
Partner with stakeholders, architects, consultants, brokers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Develop and track project budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, and reporting.
Review and interpret architectural drawings, interior design documents, and engineering plans.
Support space planning, workplace strategy, and occupancy planning to optimize Nextpower’s real estate footprint.
Assist with real estate transactions including lease evaluations, renewals, terminations, and due diligence.
Conduct site selection and feasibility assessments in coordination with business stakeholders.
Manage vendor selection, RFPs, contracts, and performance monitoring.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting, codes, and sustainability goals.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and oversee quality.
Prepare project documentation including meeting minutes, change orders, reports, and closeout packages.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in facilities project management, architecture/interiors, or corporate real estate.
Experience supporting or managing projects involving design, construction, workplace interiors, space planning, and real estate transactions.
Understanding of lease structures, site selection, and occupancy planning.
Working knowledge of budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and contracts.
Proficiency with MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar project management software.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-starter with initiative, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience within a corporate setting a plus

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00-$130,000.00. (Applicable to California)
