Platform Analyst - Investment Management

Our Public Investments Technology team supports Macquarie Asset Management by maintaining and enhancing the investment management systems that enable trading, compliance, and operational activities. Working closely with colleagues across global locations, the team ensures technology platforms are reliable, well-integrated, and aligned with business needs.

What role will you play?

As a Platform Analyst, you will act as a key link between internal users of our investment management platform (Aladdin by BlackRock) and the external vendor, ensuring the platform continues to meet evolving business requirements. You will manage, prioritise, and resolve day-to-day user requests and issues, while analysing system configurations and business workflows to support accurate data and efficient processes. You will also prepare and present service and platform reporting to help maximise adoption and value across the business.

What you offer

• A strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• An understanding of the investment lifecycle, including trading, positions, pricing, valuation, risk, and profit and loss processes
• Experience supporting, configuring, or working with investment management or portfolio management platforms, along with an interest in system integration and data quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data or system issues, identify root causes, and work collaboratively with vendors or internal teams to resolve them
• Clear communication and organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while working with geographically diverse teams across regions
