We are currently looking for a Head of US Warehouse who will be integral to driving high-level operational performance across the US region. You will lead the Atlanta Distribution Centre and Canadian 3PL operations, providing leadership and accountability for safety, service, inventory, financial performance, and people. In this role, you will partner closely with Global Warehousing, Customer Care, Transport, Planning, IT, Finance, HR, B2B, Sales, and Marketplace teams to deliver operational excellence and support future growth and continuous improvement.
What you will do
Lead operational performance across regional owned and outsourced warehouses, ensuring service, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety targets are met.
Support peak planning, capacity planning, and operational readiness activities.
Manage landlord relationships, site compliance, capital works, and facilities management for the Atlanta site.
Own site security, operational risk management, and escalation of incidents.
Manage, coach, and develop warehousing leadership teams, driving employee engagement, performance, and succession planning.
Oversee regional operating and capital budgets, supplier and 3PL relationships, and approve operational expenditure within delegated authority.
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and local legislation; manage inventory governance, audits, and year-end stock takes.
Partner with stakeholders across the business, providing operational updates, reporting, and strategic recommendations.
Lead regional warehouse strategy, including network optimisation, site development, automation adoption, and operational process standardisation.
What you should bring
10+ years of experience leading multi-site warehouse operations within fast-paced distribution environments.
Proven leadership experience in developing high-performing teams and managing organizational change.
Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budget management and cost control.
Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carrier relationships, or outsourced operations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and operational reporting tools.
Familiarity with local employment, staffing services, payroll, WHS, and business compliance obligations.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related discipline is desirable.
Desirable
Experience with NetSuite, WMS implementation, or automation technologies.
Experience working across multiple countries and 3PL providers.
Formal project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, etc.).
