Description:You will be the Fixed Wing Aviation Program Director for the SOF GLSS 2 Aviation Mission Area. Our team is responsible for managing a $450M program portfolio across AC/HC‑130J, MH‑6, MH‑60 and MH‑47 platforms, delivering cost, schedule and quality excellence while optimizing culture and partner collaboration.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Fixed Wing Aviation Program Director you will be responsible for leading all phases of the program portfolio, driving strategic planning, and ensuring successful execution of task orders.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Direct cost, schedule, and quality management for a $450M portfolio.
- Optimize team culture and partner collaboration with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Lead proposal development, program planning, and estimating activities.
- Oversee execution of task orders and adapt to rapid changes in mission requirements.
- Develop and implement enterprise‑wide policies and procedures to achieve strategic goals.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:• Position requires demonstrated ability to lead Fixed and Rotary Wing development and platform integration programs.
• Position requires demonstrated leadership skills and extensive professional experience in managing multiple task orders in an IDIQ environment.
• Ability to manage short duration, high priority projects relative to cost, schedule and performance.
• Ability to develop proposals, Statement of Work and project schedules.
• Formulates partnerships and relationships with customer, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to develop and execute organizational plans, policies and procedures across the enterprise to meet strategic and tactical goals.

• Must possess strong Budget Control, Scheduling skills, strong Communications skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
