As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment across Intel sites. This role offers the opportunity to shape global industrial hygiene policies, programs, and processes while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety. Key Responsibilities
Govern global industrial hygiene programs and ensure alignment with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain and update industrial hygiene standards, guidelines, tools, training materials, and compliance resources
Interpret industrial hygiene regulations, internal standards, and program requirements and translate them into practical site-level expectations. Partner with site EHS, operations, engineering, and other stakeholders to close compliance gaps and strengthen controls. Lead or contribute to technical forums, lessons learned, and cross-site knowledge sharing
Provide technical guidance to support compliance assurance activities, investigations involving exposure concerns, industrial hygiene deviations, or control failures.
Verify program effectiveness and compliance through dashboards, metrics, compliance data, and trend analysis; escalate gaps and emerging risks as needed.
Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, benchmarking, and shared learning across sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related specialized field.
7+ years of experience in industrial hygiene with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
Proficiency in industrial hygiene methodologies, including risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and workplace monitoring.
Demonstrated expertise in evaluating chemical exposures and toxicological risks.
Experience with program ownership and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Strong technical proficiency in developing and implementing industrial hygiene policies and programs.
Experience supporting multi-site or global EHS programs.
Experience with EHS management systems, audits, self-assessments, and compliance assurance processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent professional certification.
Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, influencing decision-making and fostering trust.
Experience in global program development and implementation, with a focus on metrics and data-driven decision-making.
Background in coaching and mentoring teams to enhance safety culture and compliance.
Experience in semiconductor or similarly complex manufacturing environments.
