About the Role

InMobi Creative Labs is the creative team for our North America ads business, working across both brand and performance. We build custom advertising experiences from the ground up, from first concept through design and development, across every surface: rich media on mobile, tablet, in-app, and web, plus CTV. We are an AI-native team with a user-centric mindset, built on performance outcomes.

We are hiring an Interactive Art Director to join the North America team and work directly with the Creative Director. This is a hands-on craft role for someone who designs beautifully, moves fast, and is genuinely excited to build the next generation of AI-native creative alongside us. You will own interactive concepts end to end and set a high bar for the work that leaves this team.

This is a fast-paced environment, and the work will stretch you. You will build for some of the biggest brands in the US market, including Fortune 500 companies, and you will use every creative muscle you have. The range and pace of the work here mean you will grow quickly.

What You'll Do

• Concept and design bespoke interactive advertising across rich media (mobile, tablet, in-app, web) and CTV, from initial idea through polished final creative.
• Own the full pipeline from design to development, partnering closely with build and production so concepts survive contact with real specs, formats, and delivery timelines.
• Design and tell the story in client-facing presentations. Craft decks that are visually sharp, tightly organized, and persuasive. This is central to the role, not an afterthought.
• Raise the creative bar on every project, bringing original thinking and a point of view rather than executing to the brief alone.
• Push AI into the workflow actively, using generative and AI-assisted tools to move faster, explore more directions, and unlock ideas the team could not reach before.
• Collaborate across the North America team and with cross-functional partners in client solutions and sales, working closely with colleagues both in North America and in Bangalore.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days

• You are fluent in our tools, pipeline, and brand standards, and comfortable in our AI-assisted workflow.
• You are shipping interactive builds and client-ready decks independently, with a quick feedback loop.
• You have started building strong working relationships and getting to know the people who support the North America market, both in North America and in Bangalore.

Within your first year

• You own major projects end to end, from concept through design and development.
• You are introducing AI techniques and approaches that raise the bar for the whole team, not just your own work.
• You are a go-to for presentation craft and storytelling, and a trusted teammate who works closely with everyone on the team.
• Your creative range has visibly expanded across formats, tools, and categories.

The Craft You Bring

• Exceptional design skills with a strong portfolio of interactive and brand advertising work. Typography, layout, motion sensibility, and attention to detail are second nature.
• Deep fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite. This is our core toolset. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Firefly should all be second nature.
• Comfortable across the wider toolkit. Figma and Microsoft Office 365 are part of the day-to-day here.
• Presentation design and storytelling at a high level. You build decks that carry a narrative and look considered on every slide. Strong PowerPoint skills paired with the design eye of the Adobe suite, and a real sense for structure and flow.
• Strong communication and presenting skills. You can articulate and present creative ideas clearly. Presenting work to the team or to partners will be part of the role at times.
• Video content creation. Editing, motion, and post production are a strong plus, and generative AI video experience is a real advantage given how much of it we produce.
• Speed without sacrificing quality. You produce strong work quickly and iterate fast under real timelines.
• Technical range across the interactive stack: rich media, HTML5, CTV formats, and an understanding of how design decisions carry through to development and delivery.

AI-Native Skills We're Looking For

This is the part that is new, and it matters. We have rebuilt our creative process around AI, and we want someone who can step in already fluent, or hungry enough to get there fast, and help push the whole team forward.

• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for both image and video. We produce a high volume of generative AI video, so real fluency with AI video platforms (Runway, Luma, Veo, Kling, or similar) is a strong plus, alongside image tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT image generation.
• A comparative, tool-agnostic mindset. The stack changes constantly. We want someone who evaluates new tools quickly and picks the right one for the job rather than defaulting to a favorite.
• Prompt craft and AI-assisted production skills that translate directly into faster ideation, more creative directions, and stronger output.
• Curiosity to experiment and share what works, helping the team level up rather than keeping techniques to yourself.

 Experience

We are open to a range of experience levels. What matters most is the combination of strong design and presentation craft with real AI fluency. That could be a seasoned interactive art director who has already retooled around AI, or high-potential talent earlier in their career who is AI-native and brings the raw skills and mindset we are describing.
