• Drive Territory Prospecting Strategy: Develop and execute a territory prospecting strategy to identify new opportunities and drive deal creation and progression. This involves using prospecting skills and digital tools to hunt for new opportunities and working closely with Business Partners to progress opportunities to close. Proven record of building a partner ecosystem from scratch or expanding one meaningfully. You've activated regional and niche partners on your own, not inherited a managed book. Comfortable owning a large territory with no playbook handed to you. You'll cover 20 states & will need to prioritize where to spend time. You enable partners, build plays, materials, and relationships so partners can sell our portfolio without you in every conversation. You know the difference between partner-sourced and partner-influenced. Strong client-facing presentation skills. Previous SLED ecosystem experience & understanding what regional SIs actually do, why niche partners matter, and how procurement works in SLED. Existing relationships with regional SIs, niche partners, and contract holders in priority SLED states. A warm network matters here. Familiarity with cooperative purchasing vehicles (NASPO, OMNIA, GSA, etc.) and how partners actually use them to accelerate deals. Working knowledge of IBM Automation and Data & AI portfolios, or demonstrated ability to ramp on a complex software portfolio quickly. You measure yourself on outcomes, not just activity.
