As a Supply Chain Professional, you will play a key role in managing, making, and delivering IBM products and services to clients worldwide. This involves collaborating across the supply chain and IBM functions to optimize speed, cost, client relationships, and client satisfaction. Purchase Orders placement with assigned suppliers, follow up on commits, shipments, and any supply related issue Maintain close communication with Suppliers to ensure the account is up to date with invoicing (GR/IR). Work closely with OCMs for parts under constraint. Place purchase orders with assigned suppliers and follow up on commits, shipments, and any supply-related matters. The buyer position is part of the Supply Assurance organization. Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, International Business, Business Administration, or related fields).
