We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst – Transformation.
In this role, you will:
- Primarily responsible for managing and executing the analysis activity, they are also responsible for the requirements. management, design, change management, traceability and test strategy, planning & management activities during project delivery.
- Gather and understand the requirements and create solutions to help delivery of the same. Play a key role in communicating between teams (business, IT, PMs, CDO, BAs across LOBs).
- Weigh opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions made. Identify, understand and evaluate the processes and information technology changes required for delivery.
- Produce clear and complete written documentation to support the work, report on the findings and present to stakeholders. Archiving them as well for future reference (e.g. Internal and external audit reviews).
- Support users in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues. Run workshops and training sessions.
- Design, perform & manage testing where required. Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made.
- Act as a point of contact for queries related to the programme. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Support Programme leadership in communication of strategic direction across global, regional and country structures.
- Support and encourage constructive cross-country, cross function, and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating. collaboration and taking prompt action to address any activities and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity. policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers.
- This role may occasionally lead other analysts on projects or programmes.
To be successful, you will:
- Possess excellent Business Analyst skills with relevant experience of 9+ years.
- Strong analytical background with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Wholesale Business, Products and HSBC Data required.
- Background working in cross-functional global teams to drive requirements capture.
- Experience in business and process analysis, change initiatives & re-engineering.
- Experience in planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
- Experience working in regulatory programmes like Brexit, MiFiD will be a plus.
- Strong Excel & MS office skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Evidence of self-development across a number of disciplines.
- Industry recognized technical certifications desired i.e. CBAP, Change Management, Master Black Belt - Six Sigma.
