The opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy Productos de Mexico as a Procurement Specialist and be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in the renewable energy sector! You'll coordinate with various groups and lead the resolution of purchasing challenges, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to our mission of sustainable energy solutions.
How you'll make an impact
Manage the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for relevant MRP controllers.
Ensure inventory availability to meet forecasted demand and optimize on-time delivery.
Segment the portfolio of materials through ABC/XYZ analysis and define inventory policies.
Collaborate with suppliers and category managers to optimize costs and drive savings projects.
Maintain inventory parameters and replenishment strategies in SAP.
Monitor and control the Procure-to-Pay process, including escalation and expediting activities.
Support and lead the Sales and Operations Planning process.
Partner with suppliers to align material forecasting and improve on-time delivery performance.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines”.
Your background
Bachelor's Degree with up to 2 years of experience in purchasing or planning.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems in MM and PP modules.
Exposure to high volume, high mix environments preferred.
Experience within operations or supply chain in the electrical equipment manufacturing sector is a plus.
