Joignez-vous à l’équipe de transformateurs de puissance de Hitachi Energy à notre installation de Varennes, où nous concevons et fabriquons des transformateurs essentiels à la stabilité et à la performance du réseau électrique. À titre de Superviseur·e du laboratoire d’essais, vous dirigerez une équipe de technicien·ne·s responsables de vérifier la performance des transformateurs, une étape cruciale pour assurer la qualité, la fiabilité et la sécurité des équipements livrés aux clients des secteurs des services publics et industriels.
Dans ce rôle, vous gérez les opérations quotidiennes du laboratoire, encadrez et développez votre équipe, et veillez à ce que toutes les activités d’essais soient exécutées avec rigueur, sécurité et exactitude conformément aux normes, procédures et besoins de production. Vous établirez les horaires de tests, gérerez les non‑conformités, soutiendrez l’amélioration continue et appliquerez les pratiques de qualité essentielles au succès de nos opérations. Votre contribution a un impact direct sur la satisfaction de la clientèle et sur la performance d’équipements critiques du réseau électrique, tout en vous permettant de développer votre expertise dans les essais de transformateurs, les exigences ISO et les procédés manufacturiers.

The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy’s Power Transformers business at our Varennes facility, where we design and deliver large power transformers critical to the stability and performance of the energy grid. As the Test Lab Supervisor, you will guide a team of test technicians responsible for validating transformer performance, supporting the safety, reliability, and quality requirements essential to customers across the utility and industrial sectors.
In this role, you manage day‑to‑day lab operations, coach and develop your team, and ensure test activities are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with applicable standards, procedures, and production needs. You will coordinate testing schedules, manage non‑conformities, support continuous improvement, and uphold rigorous quality‑assurance practices. Your work directly influences customer satisfaction and the performance of critical grid equipment, while offering the opportunity to deepen your expertise in transformer testing, ISO requirements, and manufacturing processes.
