The Project Controller acts as the financial business partner within the project organization, responsible for financial planning, controlling, governance, and performance monitoring to ensure successful and compliant project execution.
How you'll make an impact
1. You will prepare a Project Financial Execution Plan (as part of an overall Project Execution Plan covering all financial, commercial and tax aspects such as revenue recognition methods, billing plan, payment securities, taxes, consortium administration, etc.).
2. You will review and have joint responsibility for all financial aspects of the project including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecast Revenues and Cash Flow monthly/quarterly, establish project governance process, drive, coordinate monthly project reviews jointly with PM, participate in opportunity/risk identification to ensure that all required mitigation actions are implemented in time.
3. You will take accountability and support on project invoicing, manage currency risk, tax issues, bonds and guarantees, drive and seek for optimization of project cash flow, support monthly closing and reporting activities and responsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow.
4. You will be analyzing project financials to provide meaningful insight to Project Manager, communicating performance variances with relevant stakeholders along with its root cause.
5. You will provide commercial input, such as supply management, claims, back-to-back conditions, drive claim management, back-charges and insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager, upstream (towards customer), as well as downstream (towards suppliers).
6. You will support the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, country specific finance directives and instructions, ensure compliance with ICoFR requirements, ensure that the financial information is reported in SAP, optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements, support various adhoc analysis to manage costs, cash, etc.
7. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
2. Minimum with 5 years of Project Controlling experience, or similar in MNC or equivalent Industry preferred.
3. Knowledge in SAP HANA: FICO, MM & SD modules. Well versed with MS Office, SAP, ERP, Business Intelligence reports and Internet Applications.
4. Required to have strong communication and ability to drive overall project performance. Proven ability to work at a high degree of teamwork and group synergy.
5. High sense of responsibility, commitment & effective communicator.
6. Excellent English proficiency in speaking and written. Good at Japanese is better.
