The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact
1.You will be responsible for structural design and drawing: According to electrical parameters and customer requirements, conduct transformer structural design and ensuring that the design meets relevant electrical performance, mechanical strength, and other requirements; And assembly drawings and part drawings need to be created based on 3D models.
2.You will be responsible for engineering calculations and analysis: Engineering calculations must be performed during the design process, such as mechanical strength analysis, electric and magnetic field analysis, fluid analysis, thermal analysis, etc. The analysis ensures the safety and reliability of transformer products.
3.You will be responsible for project development and standardized design: Integrate daily work to carry out project development and standardized design for transformer structures and design tools, improving design efficiency and reliability while reducing product design costs.
4.You will be responsible for technical support and problem solving: Provide technical support to customers, production, and after-sales services. Solving technical problems during the production process and on-site installations and providing reliable solutions to customers.
5.You will be responsible for multi-department coordination: Participate in project planning and execution, collaborate with members from different departments (such as project management, procurement, production, quality, etc.) to ensure products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
6.You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1.Major in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, bachelor’s degree or above, fresh graduates or within 2 years of work experience.
2.Possess knowledge related to mechanical engineering, such as structural mechanics, material mechanics, materials engineering, etc.; having knowledge related to transformer design is a plus.
3.Proficient in design-related 3D modeling capabilities, such as Creo, Solidworks, and other modeling software.
4.Have relevant finite element simulation capabilities, such as using Ansys, Abaqus, and other commercial finite element analysis software.
5.Possess good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
6.Fluent in written and spoken English.
