Group Description: The Chemicals Advisory group is responsible for covering a broad range of large-cap corporate clients and financial sponsors with a highly successful track-record of advising on a broad set of transactions ranging from sell-side, buy-side, MOE, RMTs, JV structuring amongst others.
What is the position? Evercore seeks to hire a VP (1st Year) for its Chemicals Advisory group in New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities: Evercore’s differentiated approach to advisory provides Vice Presidents with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion-dollar transactions around the world. Vice Presidents play a central role in all aspects of execution, client management, and business development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Specific Qualifications: Candidates must have solid quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients. Knowledge of accounting, valuation, finance, and business strategy is a must. Responsibilities for a Vice President include management and execution of live transactions, assistance with new business development, and fostering of client relationships, with a particular focus on managing analysts and associates, overseeing financial and valuation analysis, resolving complex financial and accounting issues, performing industry and competitive analysis, and preparing client presentation materials.

Expected Base Salary Range: $275,000 - $275,000
