Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.
Work You’ll Do
As an AI and Data Solutions Engineer with strong Palantir Foundry experience you will support clients in designing and implementing an ontology-driven data foundation for audit remediation. You will translate business, financial, operational, and compliance requirements into scalable data models, analytical products, and governed workflows that improve traceability, accountability, and decision support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with client stakeholders, audit teams, finance organizations, data owners, and technical teams to understand remediation priorities and define target-state capabilities.
- Design and implement Palantir Foundry ontologies, including objects, properties, relationships, actions, business rules, and security considerations.
- Translate audit findings, corrective action plans, control requirements, and process gaps into data and workflow requirements.
- Develop and optimize Foundry pipelines, datasets, analyses, applications, and operational workflows.
- Integrate data from financial, logistics, personnel, acquisition, asset, and other enterprise systems while addressing data quality, lineage, and interoperability challenges.
- Establish traceability between source data, ontology objects, business processes, remediation activities, and evidence used to demonstrate progress.
- Define data quality rules, validation checks, stewardship processes, and metrics to support reliable reporting and sustained remediation.
- Build analytical products and dashboards that provide transparent insight into control performance, issue status, data completeness, and management actions.
- Facilitate design sessions, prototype solutions, document decisions, and communicate technical concepts to both executive and nontechnical audiences.
- Promote reusable Foundry patterns, maintainable architecture, secure data practices, and disciplined configuration management.
- Support knowledge transfer and develop documentation, training materials, and operating procedures for client teams.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry including including hands-on experience with Ontology, pipelines, datasets, Workshop, and operational workflows.
- 4+ years of experience working with audit remediation, internal controls, financial management, compliance, data governance, or related transformation initiatives.
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 1-3 days per week in Prince Gorge County, MD.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Experience working in U.S. government or similarly complex, highly governed environments.
- Familiarity with federal financial management, auditability, corrective action planning, and evidence management.
- Experience with SQL, Python, APIs, data engineering, or related analytical technologies.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, master data, lineage, and role-based access controls.
- Palantir Foundry or related platform certifications.

This compensation range is specific to Arlington, VA and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,700 to $207,800.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
