As a Cloud Security Architect, Senior Manager on the Cloud Cyber Risk team, you will be responsible for…
- Lead cloud cyber risk engagements across assessment, architecture, implementation, and post-implementation activities in client environments.
- Advise clients on cloud security architectures, configuration standards, and risk mitigation strategies across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.
- Oversee project workstreams, including technical assessments, solution designs, security recommendations, and coordination of onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Support the implementation and optimization of cloud security technologies, including cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, and DevSecOps controls.
- Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and talent development activities, including coaching and mentoring practitioners.

Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team helps organizations pursue growth, innovation, and performance through proactive management of cyber risk. The team provides advisory and implementation services that bring together risk, regulatory, and technology capabilities to help clients modernize security programs and strengthen cloud environments. Professionals in this practice work across industries to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud security solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
- 6+ years of experience in technical consulting and solution architecture for cloud security engagements
- 2+ years of experience designing and implementing security solutions in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud environments
- 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies
- 3+ years of experience with cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, or cloud workload protection platform technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or another technical field
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Experience serving clients in a consulting environment
- Certified Cloud Security Professional certification or cloud architect certification
- Experience with virtualization security across compute, network, storage, endpoint, or application layers
- Experience designing identity and access management technologies and services
- Experience managing enterprise security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, web application firewalls, endpoint protection, or security information and event management platforms
- Experience with ISO 27001, ISO 27018, National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework, National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, System and Organization Controls 2, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, or Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act requirements
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
