Work you'll do

As a Tax Consultant on the Tax Transformation Consulting team, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting tax technology projects involving enterprise resource planning systems and tax applications
• Analyzing multi-jurisdictional tax operations, including compliance, reporting, and risk management for direct and indirect taxes
• Assessing processes, technology, and resourcing models and helping develop transformation roadmaps
• Contributing to improvements in tax processes, controls, and operating models

The team

Deloitte Tax LLP’s Tax Technology Consulting practice helps tax departments streamline compliance, reporting, and planning through technology-enabled transformation. The team combines tax technical knowledge and technology experience to support enterprise resource planning initiatives, tax applications, and process improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027 or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information technology 
• Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required) 
• You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required. You can expect to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations 
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. 
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment. 
• The start date for this position will be Summer 2027

Preferred:

• Internship, co-op, or other work experience in technology

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $54,160 to $99,600.
