Comcast Business IT is an organization within Comcast’s Technology and Product Division and largely located on the east coast (greater Philadelphia and the DC area). We own the IT applications and infrastructure supporting the Comcast Business serving large scale enterprise customers, mid market, small and medium business.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated ServiceNow Developer to support the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development basics, including scripting, configuration, testing, and working with platform modules to support business needs. In this role, you will assist in building scalable and secure solutions, contribute to code development and test execution, and help ensure the platform integrates effectively with other enterprise systems. You will work closely with senior developers, architects, and business partners to deliver reliable improvements and gain broader experience across the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Job Description

In this role at Comcast Business Information Technology (BIT), you will work with product owners, architects, and software engineers to support the delivery of key business initiatives across the enterprise. You will help ensure the ecosystem is secure, reliable, and resilient while supporting efficient business processes through customer-focused applications. As part of the IT team, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of applications and infrastructure in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to learn and grow within the greenfield ecosystem.

Service Now Platform Development

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will development, and optimization of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions primarily leveraging ITSM and TSOM, with optional exposure to TNI, and a growing focus on NOW Assist capabilities. You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to implement scalable, integrated systems that streamline operational workflows, improve service delivery, and support intelligent automation.

ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, TSOM Architecture & Development:

• Develop, and maintain solutions built on ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB, with a focus on TSOM architecture and development to support incident, request, problem, change, and service operations workflows.
• Assist data migration activities to transform and migrate ITSM, CMDB, and TSOM data into ServiceNow as a high-priority task.

Enterprise Integration:

• Develop and integrate ServiceNow with Telecom order management systems to support end-to-end order orchestration, lifecycle tracking, and downstream fulfillment workflows.
• Use ServiceNow for Day 2 assurance by developing and maintaining scalable server-side logic, workflows, and automation that support operational stability, incident resolution, and ongoing service visibility.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/information systems or similar technical area. (Master’s degree is a plus)
• 2-4+ years of experience in IT service management, with at least 1 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including Flow Designer and Script Includes
• 1+ years of JavaScript/Python/Java, REST APIs/integrations, Databases and cloud fundamentals
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, TSOM, CMDB, COM, TNI, and other ServiceNow modules preferred
• Experience with integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and third-party tools preferred
• 1+ years of MSO/Telecommunications experience with a good blend of functional and technical skills in enterprise OSS/BSS systems preferred
• Experience with AI solutions including AI powered code generation, review, analysis, and software development lifecycle preferred

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Core Responsibilities

• Develops new software and working with Saas ServiceNow development, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Develop software update process for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
• Support the configuration, customization, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and modules under guidance from senior team members.
• Develop and update scripts, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and other platform components as needed.
• Support production support, runbooks, release launches, and regression test suites across Service Portal, dashboards, monitoring, and security areas.
• Contribute to upgrades and maintenance, including SE/KLO activities, vulnerability remediation, and ongoing platform stability improvements.
• Assist with testing, defect resolution, and validation of enhancements before deployment to production.
• Apply DevSecOps practices in daily development and testing work.
• Work with integration teams to support basic API connections and data exchanges between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Assist with data imports, data cleanup, and migration activities using platform tools.
• Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
• Displays expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts and skills and their application around specified engineering specialty.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
