What you'll be doing
This team supports enterprise-wide data governance priorities across two key functional groups at CIBC: the Chief Administrative Office and Global Technology, Data & Artificial Intelligence. As a Senior Consultant, Data Governance, you’ll provide leadership and consultation on data governance activities that help partners achieve strategic objectives while aligning with enterprise data management policies and standards. You’ll analyze existing business processes, recommend practical enhancements, and support the implementation of changes that improve data quality, protect sensitive data, and strengthen operational effectiveness. You’ll work closely with business, functional, and technology partners to ensure data-related requirements are clearly understood and embedded in planning and execution. You’ll also serve as a subject matter expert on data management and records management, helping guide governance processes, controls, and compliance activities across a broad range of initiatives.
