What you’ll be doing
As a Director, Funding and Liquidity Management Framework you will provide support to all areas of liquidity management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the maintenance and enhancement of a comprehensive framework to measure, monitor and analyze liquidity risk for the bank. This is inclusive of ensuring accurate and timely reporting of regulatory and management tools such as LCR, NCCF, NSFR, H4, EWIs & management liquidity stress testing, in accordance to the governance & controls established in the liquidity management framework. You will support deep dive reviews and validation of liquidity assumptions that drive the internal liquidity metrics and interpretation of regulatory rules for external regulatory metrics. As a subject matter expert in the liquidity space, building relationships with internal stakeholders and providing expertise to inform pricing & strategic decision making will be essential. You will lead projects to ensure regulatory compliance and implementation of changes to OSFI’s Liquidity Adequacy Requirements and the upcoming Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process.

How you'll succeed
Liquidity risk reporting and governance - Deliver liquidity metrics accurately and on time by executing and continuously strengthening governance and controls within the liquidity management framework.
Stakeholder partnership - Build strong relationships with internal partners and apply your subject matter expertise to inform decisions, provide insight, and support effective risk management outcomes.
Leadership and team enablement - Provide coaching and share knowledge across the team to strengthen capabilities, encourage collaboration, and support consistent execution.
Committee and regulatory support - Contribute to the preparation and presentation of materials for the Liquidity Risk Management Committee, and support responses to regulatory surveys and inquiries with clear, well-informed analysis.
Framework enhancement - Identify and lead initiatives that advance the liquidity management framework, with a focus on improving measurement, reporting, analysis, and overall effectiveness.
Process and data oversight - Apply a strong understanding of process flows and underlying data elements to help ensure liquidity risk is captured appropriately and reported with integrity.
Who you are
You love to learn. You're passionate about growing your knowledge and developing your skills, and you know that there is no limit to what you can achieve. You have a keen interest in the Treasury function, Liquidity Management, and you have solid knowledge of financial products across all asset classes.
It’s an asset if you have the following: advanced capability using Microsoft Excel; experience working with QRM. You have a degree/professional qualification in Finance or Accounting related fields (CA, CFA, FRM). You have 5-7 years of relevant experience.
