The Role
Blue Owl is seeking an Analyst to join the Institutional Capital team, supporting the Real Assets platform. This role will focus on the development of marketing and due diligence materials, as well as supporting ongoing investor relations efforts across Real Assets funds and separately managed accounts. The position offers exposure to a broad set of strategies and close collaboration with investment, product, and client teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain marketing and due diligence materials, including pitchbooks, investor presentations, fact sheets, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs)
Support the preparation of responses to RFPs, DDQs, consultant databases, and other investor-related requests, including track record and portfolio analyses
Assist in the production of quarterly investor reporting, including portfolio reports and investor letters, and support preparation of materials for the annual investor meeting, in partnership with investment, finance, and accounting teams
Coordinate logistics and materials for investor meetings, roadshows, the annual investor meeting, and industry conferences
Serve as a point of support for ongoing investor inquiries across Real Assets strategies
Partner cross-functionally with investment teams and internal groups (performance, legal, tax, operations, finance, and accounting) to gather and synthesize information
Take ownership of coordinating across internal stakeholders to source, validate, and synthesize information, driving projects and deliverables through to completion
Track and maintain competitive intelligence, including both quantitative metrics and qualitative positioning
Support the organization and maintenance of due diligence materials and reporting repositories
Contribute to ad hoc projects and broader team initiatives as needed
Qualifications
1-4 years of relevant experience within an asset manager, alternative investment firm, investment bank, or placement agent
Ability to work from our Chicago or New York offices
Exposure to or interest in real assets (e.g., infrastructure, real estate, or related sectors) preferred
Familiarity with the alternatives industry, including investment concepts, portfolio management, and/or investor relations processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, well-structured materials
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, organization, and quality of output
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong coachability and openness to constructive feedback
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and process optimization through effective use of AI-enabled tools
The base annual salary range for this New York-based position will be $85,000 to $100,000. The base annual salary range for this Chicago-based position will be $85,000 to $100,000. Actual salary offered will be based on the candidate’s skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
