OVERVIEW:

The BAM Fundamental L/S Equity Business is looking for interns to work on projects related to research, company due diligence and data-driven idea generation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at a leading hedge fund, offering hands-on experience in the public equity markets.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

 This role will report to a Fundamental L/S Equity Portfolio Manager. The intern will primarily be helping to:

• Conduct deep fundamental research, primary research, and engage in other data collection efforts
• Build and maintain detailed company financial models
• Create valuation analyses and write company and industry reports
• Take on ad-hoc industry related projects

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or other related fields
• Expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028
• Strong modelling and analytical skills. Programming skills are a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively; excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
• Passion for financial markets
