Lead End-to-End Logistics Projects: Lead, plan, prioritise, and organise project activities across the logistics function. Develop project plans and schedules while balancing business needs and expectations across AppleCare and Finished Goods operations.
• Drive Requirements Gathering and Solutioning: Take charge in gathering, prioritising, validating, and documenting business requirements through workshops and working sessions with logistics partners; while carefully considering businesses’ unique business requirements. Actively contribute to the Business Requirement Document (BRD) process; ensuring requirements are clearly captured, validated, and aligned with business intent; before taking ownership of writing the Partner Design Document (PDD) that translates those requirements into actionable, scalable solutions. Possess an intrinsic mind for project solutioning that drives standardised yet adaptable outcomes — avoiding exceptions and manual processes.
• Champion User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Change Management: Lead and manage UAT deliverables within the logistics function, including writing logistics test scripts and executing test steps. Champion business change management to ensure the business is prepared for change and transitions smoothly.
• Manage Stakeholder and Partner Expectations: Manage expectations across internal and external partners, especially under competing project constraints. Balance the bandwidth and availability of project SMEs against their functional responsibilities. Communicate with management and partners to provide clarity on project scope, timelines, risks, and benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive Vendor Performance and Project Delivery: Drive vendors effectively to achieve project deliverables and ensure projects are delivered on schedule. Work closely with 3PL logistics partners on system improvements and process alignment.
• Identify and Manage Project Risks: Proactively identify and manage project risks throughout the life of a project. Apply a balanced approach to quality and risk management within project constraints.
• Enable Continuous Improvement: Maintain a keen eye for detail with an auditing mindset to conduct post-implementation reviews, measuring expected versus actual improvements to the supply chain.
• Enable Knowledge Management: Upon project completion and transition to sustaining business support, ensure comprehensive knowledge management practices are in place — including the documentation of process flows, system configurations, lessons learned, and operational guides; to preserve institutional knowledge and enable effective handover to sustaining teams.
• Collaborate Across Cross-Functional Teams: Possess the soft skills and analytical mindset to manage effectively across cross-functional teams — including Business Process Re- engineering, IS&T, and Operations — ensuring logistics requirements and objectives are met alongside broader organisational benefits.
• Embrace a Growth Mindset and Harness AI/ML: Proactively cultivate a growth mindset by continuously exploring and learning how emerging AI/ML tools and platforms can be applied to logistics workflows. Identify opportunities to leverage intelligent automation, data-driven insights, and generative AI to elevate the quality of project outcomes and drive meaningful innovation across the supply chain.
