AWS CMHK is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant I to support the VP and Co-MD. The Executive Assistant will act as an extension of the leaders, and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout AWS, and externally with customers. This role requires superior attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead with ambiguity, all while juggling multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in working with executive leaders (at and outside Amazon) is important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and want to take on varied and exciting new projects and learn new skills. You'll need to take risks and make decisions without knowing the total picture, proactively solving complex problems that affect your customers, leaders, and peers.
As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management, tracking key deliverables, coordinating travel and expenses, and organizing team activities and events (such as all-team meetings, employee engagement activities, offsites, etc.) Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordinating meeting agendas at all levels across and within the org; space planning; project coordination including managing budgets and logistics for those efforts.
Key job responsibilities
Management of multiple complex calendars, being inclusive of employees in multiple timezones. Prioritizing appointments and worktime according to the needs of the business and executive.
Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic)
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars.
Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders
Participate in planning of events and driving key team activities (i.e. staff meetings, all global meetings, morale activities, etc.).
Mentor and learn from other executive assistants within the organization and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies.
Management of a variety of short-term and/or long-term projects.
A day in the life
Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure required actions are taken swiftly.
Coordinate cost effective travel arrangements, working with in-house travel agents and internal travel processes.
Reconcile expenses in a timely fashion.
Partner with the recruiting team, facilities team, HR, Finance, and other business partners within the AWS community.
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on unfinished items to include meeting notes and action item tracking.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Bachelor's degree
