Transportation Program Manager – ATS Middle Mile (Outbound & Returns)
Have you ever thought about what it takes to deliver millions of packages to customers across Brazil, on time, every single time? At Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), we are building a world-class logistics network — and we need people who thrive in complexity, move fast, and think big.
About the Team
ATS Middle Mile is the backbone of Amazon's transportation network in Brazil, connecting Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, EDSPs and Delivery Stations through a growing surface and air network. Within Middle Mile, the Outbound & Returns team acts as the primary interface between transportation operations and internal programs — ensuring seamless execution, performance stability, and continuous improvement across our logistics channels.
About the Role
We are looking for a Transportation Program Manager to own the relationship with one of our internal transportation programs. You will serve as the main POC for your assigned channel — managing stakeholders, driving performance improvements, and leading program expansion initiatives.
English is required.
Key job responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary POC between ATS Middle Mile and your assigned internal program, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, and timely escalation of risks and blockers.
- Performance & Stabilization: Developing and executing transportation strategies to stabilize and improve on-time performance (OTA/OTP), analyzing root causes of delays, and implementing structural corrective actions.
- Program Expansion: Supporting the growth and expansion of your program by coordinating network changes, new route launches, and capacity adjustments in partnership with Network Design and Capacity teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving improvement projects end-to-end — from problem identification and data analysis to solution design, implementation, and results tracking.
- Operational Excellence: Monitoring daily execution, identifying recurring defects, and building mechanisms to prevent recurrence through process standardization and automation.
A day in the life
