**Job Description**
We are currently recruiting a **CAD Manager** with experience in Hydraulics and Drainage design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities.
**The responsibilities of this role include:**
+ Define, implement, and maintain CAD/BIM standards, procedures, and workflows for H&D design delivery.
+ Provide day-to-day technical leadership for CAD delivery, working under general direction.
+ Plan and coordinate drafting and modelling tasks across project teams, including task assignment and prioritisation.
+ Produce and oversee complex CAD deliverables using multiple platforms, ensuring deadlines and quality requirements are met.
+ Perform self-checks prior to submission and actively participate in quality control / quality assurance reviews of team outputs.
+ Manage and support the effective use of Common Data Environments, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360) and Bentley ProjectWise.
+ Drive continuous improvement in templates, libraries, and production efficiency, including coaching and supporting less experienced staff.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ 8+ years of experience supporting hydraulics & drainage design delivery, with a clear interest in developing a technical career in this field.
+ Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including standards setup and production workflows (e.g., alignments, profiles, pipe networks, cross sections, grading, surfaces).
+ Experience with MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer is well considered.
+ Fluent English (written and spoken).
+ Experience working for Transport or Water Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favorable.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Certificated in a drafting technology Institute, Technical or similar Professional Education or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
