Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Reports to: Sales Development Manager, Marketing

A quick snapshot

This is your first step in a long and successful career in software sales. We want to bring in hungry, humble, and diverse people with a desire to grow. We’ll teach you how to use some of the coolest technology there is to educate prospects on the value that Conga can bring to their organization. We’ve brought in some fantastic leaders that will teach you how to be successful in a business-to-business (b2b) sales role. Don’t get us wrong… This will be hard work. We’ll teach you how to do this and how to win in an amazing market.

Why this role is a big deal… 

The Sales Development team performs the most important function within Conga. Our pipeline is our lifeline. You’re the first line of communication with all potential prospects and will be Conga’s biggest advocate.

Are you the person we’re looking for?   

Motivated with sales instinct. You’ll drive market share by qualifying and delivering leads that build pipeline for our Sales Executive team in your defined market segment. Numbers-driven professionals that want to learn, grow, and develop their career.

Takes initiative. You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce an outreach sequence that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you put a sequence together, talk to the team about it, and own it. And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirt.  

Strong attention to detail & time management. Though SDR experience is not required, we need candidates with strong organizational and follow-up skills on all key accounts and prospects. You will have a lot of autonomy as an SDR; what you put into being an SDR is what you will get out of it.

Resourceful & Collaborative. At Conga, we achieve together-- when you have questions, you find answers; when you’re faced with challenges, you find solutions. You turn to a variety of resources, including your colleagues, professional network, Internet, articles, books -- whatever helps you get the job done. Then you apply that knowledge across the business where it makes sense.

You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connection with our clients and allows you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues in the most expedient way. 

Tech Savvy. Experience operating on CRM platforms – Salesforce is our single source of truth.

Innovative Thinking. Digital media is constantly changing, along with the rules of how we use data to target. You should want to take initiative to research new tactics and find new ways to improve campaign effectiveness.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

U.S base salary range:

$53,000—$53,000 USD
